Account and data deletion

Request permanent deletion.

PrayerTurns lets you delete your account in the app. This page provides a route if you no longer have access to the app.

Fastest option: delete in the app

  1. Sign in to PrayerTurns.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Choose Delete Account and confirm.

This permanently removes the app account and associated server data, including prayer requests, prayer records, synced Journal entries, group memberships, and groups owned by the account, subject only to limited records that must be retained for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or unresolved disputes.

If you cannot use the app

Send a deletion request from the email address used for your PrayerTurns account. Support will verify control of that address before deletion. Never send a password, one-time code, prayer text, group invitation, or identity document unless support gives a specific secure instruction.

Request account deletion

The request must identify the PrayerTurns account email, but it should contain no prayer content or other sensitive account data. Support will confirm the next verification step and the expected completion time.

Subscriptions

Account deletion does not automatically cancel a subscription billed by Apple or Google. Cancel the subscription in the store's subscription settings to prevent future renewal.
